Heartbeat Roughdraft...
So I came up with a really amateur design for the logo for my non-profit called "Heartbeat"... Feedback would be much appreciated, cause this is definitely not the final product.

why did you split up the "beat"?
I like the seperation. The focus is on the word "be" and "at," which suggests the "heart" as a verb.
As in "be heart."
I have no idea if this is your intention, but that is what I see.
BTW, I came to your blog through Katie's site and appreciate the posts I have read here.
